James also agreed with the decision to rev iew. 裁判一開始吹判Slawson犯規，但溜馬隨即提出挑戰，而且挑戰成功，LBJ本人也認同溜馬提出挑戰的決定。 James' explanation also reflected how his approach to the game has changed ove r the years. He admitted that he might have attempted the dunk earlier in his career, but at 41 years old, protecting his body has become a bigger considera tion. LBJ這番解釋，也反映出他多年來對待比賽的心態已經有所改變。他坦言，若是在職業生涯早期，自己或許會選擇直接起跳灌籃，但如今已經41歲的他，保護身體成為更重要的考量。 "Twelve years ago, or I mean for me, s–t, it could have been even five years ago, four years ago, I would have probably taken off," he said. "But early in November, as you're building up, you're like, that's the risk part."
