re moving ahead exploring the possibility of using major leaguers in the 2028 Lo
s Angeles Olympics, a tournament that could be played on an extended All-Star br
eak.
大聯盟主席曼佛地魔與球員工會主席Tony Clark表示，正在推進讓大聯盟球員參加2028年洛
杉磯奧運的可能性，這項賽事有可能會安排在延長的明星賽休息期間舉行
"I think it is a opportunity to market the game on a really global stage," Manfr
ed told the Baseball Writers' Association of America on Tuesday. "Obviously the
clubs are going to have to endorse this. I mean, this it's a big deal."

MLB met with Los Angeles organizers Monday in Atlanta ahead of the All-Star Game
and Manfred said the Olympic officials were meeting with the Major League Baseb
all Players Association.
MLB在全明星賽前的週一於亞特蘭大和洛杉磯奧運主辦單位會面，曼佛地魔表示，奧運官員
也與大聯盟球員工會舉行了會談
"There's a lot of work that still needs to be done," Clark told the BBWAA in a s
eparate session. "We do know players are interested in playing, whether it's for
the Team USA or any number of other teams around the world. ... There's just a
lot of conversation that needs to be had sooner rather than later to see how via
ble this is, but we're hopeful that we can figure our way through it for the ben
efit of the game."
Tony Clark在另一場與BBWAA的會議中表示：
「還有很多工作需要完成，我們知道球員們對參賽有興趣，無論是代表美國隊或其他國家的

"They put out a schedule. They tell you it's not going to move. We'll see whethe
r there's any movement on that," Manfred said. "It is possible to take it, to pl
ay the All-Star Game in its normal spot, have a single break that would be longe
r, obviously, but still play 162 games without bleeding into the middle of Novem
ber. That is possible, OK? It would require significant accommodations, but it's
possible."
曼佛地魔補充說：「他們已經公布了一份賽程，並告訴你這個時間表是不會改動的，我們就
看看最後是否真的會有所改變」
「其實是有可能安排的——可以照原定時間舉行明星賽，然後設置一個單一的休賽期，雖然
這段休息會比較長，但我們仍然可以打滿162場比賽，而且不會拖到11月中旬，這是做得到
的，好嗎？當然，這會需要做出重大調整，但確實是可行的」
然後2028打奧運的話，明星賽高機率會在舊金山舉行

Olympics, San Francisco is a frontrunner to host the All-Star Game that year, t
he San Francisco Chronicle’s Susan Slusser reported Tuesday, citing a league so

根據《舊金山紀事報》記者Susan Slusser週二的報導，若大聯盟與球員工會同意讓球員參
加2028年奧運會，舊金山將成為該年明星賽的主要候選主辦城市之一
According to Slusser, if MLB players are allowed to compete in the Olympics, bot
h the league and the union reportedly would prefer a West Coast destination for
the All-Star Game in order for the participants to be able to easily travel to L
os Angeles, where the Summer Olympics baseball tournament will be held.
Slusser指出，若MLB球員被允許參加奧運，聯盟與工會傾向選擇美國西岸城市作為明星賽的
舉辦地點，以便參賽球員能方便前往位於洛杉磯舉行的奧運棒球比賽
Slusser also reported that the momentum appears to be in favor of allowing MLB p
layers to compete in the 2028 Olympics.
